Rotary Club of SolvangCommunity Projects
July 4th Parade hosted by Solvang Rotary. The annual 4th of July parade showcases the best of the Valley. Floats, cars, marching children, horses, motorcycles, and more. The parade begins at 11:00 am, with an annual BBQ 12 noon hosted by Santa Ynez Rotary Club and a free concert at Solvang Park ahead of fireworks.
The Sunny Fields Park Playground was financed and built through a collaboration between the Solvang, Santa Ynez, and Los Olivos Rotary Clubs and the City of Solvang in 2003. It was a hands-on project with many local residents directly involved in the actual construction.
